    An introductory meeting for the parents of next season’s Under 7 squad will be held at 8pm on Wednesday June 8th at the clubhouse.

  • A Game of 2 Halves

    This weeks game was definitely one of two halves.

    Tailwind lined up with a good formation and gave Manor a midfield battle to start with, both teams struggling to get into each others box.

    6 min passed and the first real attack gifted the home team a slender lead which was followed by two more goals to give a half time lead of 3-0.

  • Soccer 7s Wins Again

    The weather was dry, the sun shone and the third Tailwind Soccer Sevens tournament was enjoyed by the children and parents of the 34 teams who attended over the weekend.

    The U8s enjoyed their first taste of action on the Top Field and took part in a festival of football.

    The U9s tournament was won by Watling FC who beat The Redsox 3-0 in the final and the U10s was claimed by Austen Arrowheads who squeezed past the Hurricanes 2-1 after extra time.

    The U11s winners were Lions, who beat FC Comets 3-2 in a classic final.

  • Tailwind U14s 1 – 8 Raleigh City

    Despite the number of goals scored against the team, many good qualities were shown in this match. Particularly the team’s great reaction in the second half of the match that helped the team to achieve a goal with a smashing shot by Thomas. The opposing team was very well organized and strong and they had one player who throughout the match scored almost all of their goals. Our team continued to be brave and determined throughout the match, showing once again a lot of potential.
